Section Sch8-2 — Social Security Act 2018: Term of office of members

2 Term of office of members (1) Every member (except so far as this Act provides otherwise)— (a) holds office for a term not exceeding 3 years; and (b) may be reappointed. (2) Every member continues in office (despite any contrary provisions of this Act) until that member’s successor comes into office, unless that member vacates office earlier under clause 3 .
