9 Sittings: location, quorum, and authority’s decision (1) Each sitting of the authority is to be held in the place it considers convenient having regard to the nature of the matters to be decided. (2) The presence of the chairperson and 1 other member is necessary to constitute a sitting of the authority. (3) The decision of a majority of the members present at a sitting of the authority is the decision of the authority. (4) If those members are equally divided in opinion, the chairperson’s decision is the decision of the authority. Compare: 1964 No 136 s 12N(1)–(3)
