50 Purpose and application of sections 51 to 55 (1) The purpose of sections 51 to 55 is to ensure that beneficiaries have sufficient information to enable the terms of the trust and the trustees’ duties to be enforced against the trustees. (2) Sections 51 to 55 do not apply to charitable trusts or to other trusts for a permitted purpose that do not have beneficiaries.
