8 Saving of rights and proceedings under repealed Act This Act does not— (a) enable any proceeding to be brought that was, before the commencement date, barred under the repealed Act; or (b) affect the application of section 18 of the Interpretation Act 1999 in relation to the effect of the repeal of the repealed enactments.
