61 Limit on duration of trusts does not apply (1) No rule of law or provisions of an Act, including section 11 of the Trusts Act 2019, prescribe or restrict the period during which— (a) each Trust and the Waikato River Clean-up Trust may exist in law; or (b) the trustees of each Trust and the Waikato River Clean-up Trust may hold or deal with property or income from property in their capacity as trustees. (2) No rule of law or provisions of an Act, including section 11 of the Trusts Act 2019, apply to a document entered into to give effect to the deed if the application of that provision would make the document invalid or ineffective or a right conferred by the document invalid or ineffective.
