Section 12 — Wills Act 2007: Witnesses

12 Witnesses (1) The person appointed as executor of a will may witness the will. (2) The validity of a will is not affected by the fact that a witness did not know that the document he or she was signing was a will. Compare: Wills Act 1837 ss 13 , 17 (UK)
