11 Schedule 6 shall have effect with respect to private children’s homes.

12 Schedule 7 shall have effect for the purpose of setting out the circumstances in which a person may foster more than three children without being treated—

a for the purposes of this Act and the Care Standards Act 2000, as carrying on a children’s home ;

and b for the purposes of the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016, as providing a care home service within the meaning of Part 1 of that Act .
