Minor definitions. 116 1 In this Part— “ common parts ”, in relation to a dwelling-house let under a tenancy, means any part of a building comprising the dwelling-house and any other premises which the tenant is entitled under the terms of the tenancy to use in common with the occupiers of other dwelling-houses let by the landlord; “ housing purposes ” means the purposes for which dwelling-houses are held by local housing authorities under Part II (provision of housing) or purposes corresponding to those purposes; “ rental period ” means a period in respect of which a payment of rent falls to be made; “ term ”, in relation to a secure tenancy, includes a condition of the tenancy.
2 In this Part, the following terms have the same meaning as in the Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016 (anaw 1) —
a “ contract-holder ” (see section 7 (see also section 48) of that Act);
b “ prohibited conduct standard contract ” (see section 116 of that Act);
c “ secure contract ” (see section 8 of that Act).
