Section 608 — Housing Act 1985: Acquisition of ancient monuments, &c.

Acquisition of ancient monuments, &c. 608 Land which is the site of an ancient monument or other object of archaeological interest—
a may not be acquired for the purposes of . . . Part IX (slum clearance),
and b may be acquired for the purposes of Part II (provision of housing) only by compulsory purchase order.
