Housing benefit: inclusion pending abolition 51 1 In this Chapter a reference to universal credit or a relevant award of universal credit includes housing benefit under Part 7 of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992.
2 Where a local authority applies for a rent repayment order in relation to housing benefit, a reference in this Chapter to “ rent ” includes any payment in respect of which housing benefit may be paid.
