Section 123 — Land Registration Act 2002: Suppression of information

Suppression of information 123 1 A person commits an offence if in the course of proceedings relating to registration under this Act he suppresses information with the intention of—
a concealing a person’s right or claim, or b substantiating a false claim.
2 A person guilty of an offence under this section is liable—
a on conviction on indictment, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to a fine;
b on summary conviction, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to a fine not exceeding the statutory maximum, or to both.
