Section 181 — Social Security Administration Act 1992: Impersonation of officers

Impersonation of officers 181 If any person, with intent to deceive, falsely represents himself to be a person authorised by the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions to act in any capacity (whether under this Act or otherwise) he shall be guilty of an offence and liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding level 4 on the standard scale.
