Section 79 — Social Security Administration Act 1992: Recovery of Northern Ireland payments

Recovery of Northern Ireland payments 79 Without prejudice to any other method of recovery—

a amounts recoverable under any enactment or instrument having effect in Northern Ireland and corresponding to an enactment or instrument mentioned in section 71(8) above shall be recoverable by deduction from benefits prescribed under that subsection;

b amounts recoverable under any enactment having effect in Northern Ireland and corresponding to section 75 above shall be recoverable by deduction from benefits prescribed under subsection (4) of that section;

and c awards recoverable under Part III of the Northern Ireland Administration Act shall be recoverable by deduction from benefits prescribed under section 71(8) .
