Meaning of “appropriately qualified actuary".

42 In sections 39 and 40 an “ appropriately qualified actuary ” means a person who is either—

a a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries, or b a Fellow of the Faculty of Actuaries, or is approved by the Certification Officer on the application of the trade union as a person having actuarial knowledge.
