Section 17 — Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act: Property to be delivered to trustee

Where a person has in his possession or power any property of the bankrupt that he is not by law entitled to retain as against the bankrupt or the trustee, that person shall deliver the property to the trustee. For the purpose of obtaining possession of and realizing on the property of the bankrupt, a trustee has power to act as such anywhere.
