Section 270 — Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act: Order recognizing foreign proceeding

If the court is satisfied that the application for the recognition of a foreign proceeding relates to a foreign proceeding and that the applicant is a foreign representative in respect of that foreign proceeding, the court shall make an order recognizing the foreign proceeding. The court shall specify in the order whether the foreign proceeding is a foreign main proceeding or a foreign non-main proceeding.
