Section 29.1 — Citizenship Act: Contravention of subsection 21.1(1)

A person who commits an offence under subsection 21.1(1) is liable on conviction on indictment, to a fine of not more than $200,000 or to imprisonment for a term of not more than two years, or to both; or on summary conviction, to a fine of not more than $40,000 or to imprisonment for a term of not more than six months, or to both.
