Section 164 — Canada Business Corporations Act: Ceasing to hold office

An auditor of a corporation ceases to hold office when the auditor dies or resigns; or is removed pursuant to section 165. A resignation of an auditor becomes effective at the time a written resignation is sent to the corporation, or at the time specified in the resignation, whichever is later.
