Section 262 — Criminal Code: Impeding attempt to save life

Every person is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term of not more than 10 years or is guilty of an offence punishable on summary conviction who prevents or impedes or attempts to prevent or impede any person who is attempting to save his own life, or without reasonable cause prevents or impedes or attempts to prevent or impede any person who is attempting to save the life of another person.
