Section 453 — Criminal Code: Uttering coin

Every person is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term of not more than two years or is guilty of an offence punishable on summary conviction who, with intent to defraud, knowingly utters a coin that is not current, or a piece of metal or mixed metals that resembles in size, figure or colour a current coin for which it is uttered.
