Section 639 — Criminal Code: Challenge in writing

Where a challenge is made on a ground mentioned in section 638, the court may, in its discretion, require the party that challenges to put the challenge in writing. A challenge may be in Form 41. A challenge may be denied by the other party to the proceedings on the ground that it is not true.
