Section 696.71 — Criminal Code: Commission established

The Miscarriage of Justice Review Commission is established. The Commission consists of a Chief Commissioner and four to eight other commissioners, all of whom are appointed to hold office during good behaviour by the Governor in Council on the recommendation of the Minister. The head office of the Commission must be in a place in Canada that is designated by the Governor in Council.
