Section 696.83 — Criminal Code: Policies

The Commission may adopt policies generally for the carrying out of its work and the management of its affairs, including policies respecting its procedures and practices. The Commission must adopt policies respecting the making of applications; each stage of the review process; applications that are made on behalf of persons; the provision of notices and other information to applicants, to their representatives, to attorneys general and to other interested persons, including victims; and meetings of the Commission. The Commission must publish its policies on its website. The Statutory Instruments Act does not apply to policies adopted by the Commission.
