Section 715.232 — Criminal Code: Trial — summary conviction offence

The court may allow an accused to appear by videoconference at a trial for a summary conviction offence if the accused is not in custody, with the consent of the accused and the prosecutor;
and if the accused is in custody, with the consent of the accused.
