Section 782 — Criminal Code: Defect in form
Text of the provision Official document
No warrant of committal shall, on certiorari or habeas corpus , be held to be void by reason only of any defect therein, where it is alleged in the warrant that the defendant was convicted; and there is a valid conviction to sustain the warrant.
