Section 825 — Criminal Code: Dismissal for failure to appear or want of prosecution

The appeal court may, on proof that notice of an appeal has been given and that the appellant has failed to comply with the conditions of a release order made under section 816 or of a recognizance entered into under section 817; or the appeal has not been proceeded with or has been abandoned, order that the appeal be dismissed.
