Section 140 — Employment Insurance Act: Regulations

For the purposes of sections 138 and 139, the Commission may, with the approval of the Governor in Council, make regulations respecting applications for a Social Insurance Number; the assignment and use of Social Insurance Numbers; requirements that must be met by persons who have been assigned Social Insurance Numbers; and requirements that must be met by employers.
