Section 28.1 — Canadian Human Rights Act: Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities

The Commission is, for the purposes of paragraph 2 of article 33 of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations on December 13, 2006, designated as a body responsible for monitoring the Government of Canada’s implementation of that Convention.
