Section 128 — Immigration and Refugee Protection Act: Penalties

A person who contravenes a provision of section 126 or 127 is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction on indictment, to a fine of not more than $100,000 or to imprisonment for a term of not more than five years, or to both; or on summary conviction, to a fine of not more than $50,000 or to imprisonment for a term of not more than two years, or to both.
