Section 18.2 — Old Age Security Act: Request to cancel supplement

A pensioner may, in the prescribed manner and within the prescribed time after payment of a supplement has commenced, request cancellation of that supplement. If the request is granted and the amount of any supplement and related allowance is repaid within the prescribed time, the application for that supplement is deemed never to have been made; and the supplement is deemed for the purposes of this Act not to have been payable during the period in question.
