Section 180.2 — Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations: Cancellation

A temporary resident visa that was issued to a foreign national is cancelled if the foreign national becomes a permanent resident; the passport or other travel document in respect of which the temporary resident visa was issued is lost, stolen or destroyed; the passport or other travel document in respect of which the temporary resident visa was issued is abandoned by the foreign national; or the foreign national is deceased.
