Interpretation of building safety provisions 30I In sections 30C to 30H — “ accountable person ” has the meaning given in section 115 of the Building Safety Act 2022; “ higher-risk building ” has the meaning given in section 115 of that Act; “ lease ” does not include a mortgage term; “ special measures manager ” has the meaning given in paragraph 1 of Schedule 7 to the Building Safety Act 2022; “ special measures order ” has the meaning given in paragraph 1 of Schedule 7 to that Act.
